2nd & 4th Saturdays 9:00am
“Superficiality is the curse of our age. The doctrine of instant satisfaction is a primary spiritual problem. The desperate need to today is not for a greater number of intelligent people, or gifted people, but for deep people.” This quote from Richard Foster’s classic book Celebration of Discipline describes the reason people gather on the 2nd and 4th Saturday each month. We hunger for a deeper relationship with God so we learn to allow our minds to connect with our hearts so that we become more whole as persons. We study the way others have encountered and followed Christ. We sit in silence as we learn how to become more present to God and one another. And we support one another as we talk about what we have read, where we see God at work in our lives, and simply share the journey together. Everyone is welcome to join us. We meet at 9:00 a.m. in the sanctuary.
